K-12 Chancellor Jim Warford to Visit West Gate Elementary School
K-12 Chancellor Jim Warford will visit West Gate Elementary School in West Palm Beach tomorrow to present the Milken Educator Award to an outstanding Florida teacher. Warford will be joined by Milken Foundation co-founder Mike Milken.
Please note that the presentation is a surprise to the recipient, whose name will not be revealed until it is announced during an assembly at the school.

The Milken Family Foundation National Educator Awards were established in 1985 to reward, retain and attract outstanding K-12 educators to the profession. As part of the largest teacher recognition program in the U.S., each Milken award recipient receives a $25,000 unrestricted financial prize.
