Governor Bush Appoints Six to the Florida Board of Governors
TALLAHASSEE Governor Jeb Bush today announced the following appointments and reappointment:
Florida Board of Governors (Senate confirmation required)
- M. Lynn Pappas, 52, of St. Augustine, real estate attorney, reappointed for a term beginning February 21, 2005 and ending January 6, 2012.
- Bill McCollum, 60, of Longwood, attorney and partner at Baker and Hostetler, LLP, succeeds Rolland V. Heiser, for a term beginning February 21, 2005 and ending January 6, 2012.
- Dr. J. Stanley Marshall, 82, of Tallahassee, founding chairman and vice chairman of the James Madison Institute, succeeds Steven J. Uhlfelder, for a term beginning February 21, 2005 and ending January 6, 2012.
- Dr. Akshay M. Desai, 47, of St. Petersburg, physician, succeeds Dr. Castell V. Bryant, for a term beginning February 21, 2005 and ending January 6, 2006.
- Ann W. Duncan, 39, of Tarpon Springs, senior vice president of CLW Real Estate Services, succeeds Pamela A. Bilbrey, for a term beginning February 21, 2005 and ending January 6, 2012.
- Rene Albors, 46, of Orlando, CEO of the Albors Companies, succeeds Miguel A. DeGrandy, for a term beginning February 21, 2005 and ending January 6, 2006.
