Education Leaders to Participate in Sixteenth Annual African American Read-in
Education Commissioner John Winn, Community College Chancellor David Armstrong, and Colleges and Universities Chancellor Debra Austin will read to students in Tallahassee on Monday as part of the Sixteenth Annual African American Read-in. The Read-In, sponsored by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and NCTE, celebrates African American literacy as a traditional part of Black History Month activities.
Commissioner Winn will read to third grade students at:
