Incoming Education of Education John Winn to Visit the Old Central Academy High School

Incoming Education Commissioner John Winn will visit the former High School where he first taught on Thursday in Palatka. Central Academy High School was the first accredited African-American high school in Florida and is currently listed as a Florida Black Heritage Site. The Incoming Commissioner will tour the old school and view a chalkboard where his name is still written.
