Brown v. Board of Education Bus Tour to Visit Opa Locka

The Brown v. Board of Education African-American History Bus Tour announced in March by Governor Bush, will continue its visit to Opa Locka on Tuesday. The bus tour presents information to students and families in communities throughout Florida.

The bus carries an exhibit that recognizes the contributions of African-American leaders in Florida's education history and highlights displays of Florida's heritage, including pictures, sculptures and artifacts.

The tour will visit the following locations:

Miami Carol City Senior High School
3422 N.W. 187th Street
Opa Locka

11:30 a.m.
North Dade Middle School
1840 N.W. 157th Street
Opa Locka
