Brown v. Board of Education Bus Tour to Visit Ft. Lauderdale

The Brown v. Board of Education African-American History Bus Tour announced last month by Governor Bush, will continue its visit to Ft. Lauderdale on Friday. The bus tour presents information to students and families in communities throughout Florida.

The bus carries an exhibit that recognizes the contributions of African-American leaders in Florida's education history and highlights displays of Florida's heritage, including pictures, sculptures and artifacts.

The tour will visit the following locations:

8:30 a.m.
Riverland Elementary School
2600 S.W. 11th Court
Ft. Lauderdale

11:30 a.m.
New River Middle School
3100 Riverland Road
Ft. Lauderdale
