Department of Education to Host Health Education Day as Part of Black History Month Celebration

TALLAHASSEE — The Florida Department of Education, in conjunction with its Black History Month activities, will host Health Education Day at the Turlington Building. Secretary of Health Dr. John Agwunobi, Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy Dean Dr. Henry Lewis III, and Florida State University Medical School Associate Dean Dr. Alma Littles will make presentations. In addition, the Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy Drug Information Education Center will offer complimentary blood pressure screenings and medication reviews.

Activities will be as follows:
