STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION TO MEET AT NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY

Board to hold workshop on Federal programs and meet to discuss various issues, including where school districts are in terms of meeting goals to comply with class size amendment

TALLAHASSEE - The State Board of Education will hold a workshop on Federal education funding, as well as the December board meeting at Nova Southeastern University tomorrow. State Board of Education Chairman Phil Handy, Board Members, and Education Commissioner Horne will be available to speak to the media immediately following the board meeting.

The workshop and meeting will take place:

9:00 a.m. - 12 Noon
Workshop on Federal Programs

1:00 p.m.
