State Board of Education Chairman Phil Handy and Education Commissioner Jim Horne to Hold Media Availability Following Governor Bush's State of Education Address

Governor Jeb Bush will deliver a state of education address at the Enterprise Florida Board Meeting in Orlando on Thursday beginning at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Following the address, State Board of Education Chairman Phil Handy, Education Commissioner Jim Horne, and other education officials will hold a media availability at:

10:30 a.m.
Thursday, November 13, 2003
Disney Contemporary Resort
Fantasia Ballroom H
4600 North World Drive, Lake Buena Vista

The Governor's address will be webcast from these sites:

Department of Education at www.fldoe.org
Enterprise Florida at www.eFlorida.com
www.myflorida.com
www.wfsu.org

The address will also be carried by some Florida radio stations and The Florida Channel. Schools and school districts can tune in to watch on The Florida Knowledge Network by contacting their local media specialist.

NOTE: Before the Governor's address begins, doors to the Fantasia Ballroom will close at 8:45, so visitors and the media are requested to enter the room prior to that time.
