State Board of Education to Convene in Orlando

TALLAHASSEE — The State Board of Education will hold their October meeting in Orlando. Among other things, the board will hear reports on the Orange County School Board's Charter District Status, development and capabilities of the K-20 Data Warehouse, and an update on the Class Size Amendment. In addition, the board will consider school improvement plans for "F" schools.

The meeting will take place at:

Prior to the meeting, there will be a workshop to brief the board on the process for reviewing the student assessment rule and school grading rule. The pre-meeting workshop will also cover Universal Pre-Kindergarten.
