State Board of Education Chairman Phil Handy to Visit Evans High School to Celebrate Improved Performance

ORLANDO — State Board of Education Chairman Phil Handy will visit Evans High School in Orlando on Tuesday. Evans improved its school grade from an 'F' in 2002 to a 'D' in 2003. As a result, the school will receive nearly $285,000 in School Recognition Funds this year.
