Education Commissioner Jim Horne to Visit Schools

TALLAHASSEE — Education Commissioner Jim Horne will visit schools on Monday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 14 to make award presentations to three outstanding Florida teachers.

Please note that the presentations are a surprise to the recipients, whose names will not be revealed until the winner of the Milken National Educator Award is announced during an assembly at each school.

Monday, October 13
8:15 a.m.
Julia A. Landon Middle School,
1819 Thacker Avenue, Jacksonville

1:30 p.m.
Wilson Middle School
1005 Swann Avenue, Tampa

Tuesday, October 14
8:00 a.m.
Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School
1410 Countyline Road, Miami
