Department of Education Statewide Assessment Meeting to Take Place in Tampa

TALLAHASSEE — The Florida Department of Education will hold a statewide assessment meeting today. School district assessment coordinators will meet with Department officials to discuss a number of issues including norm referenced tests, machine scoring of the 10th grade Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) retake, development of a new writing test, as well as a rule revision to be considered by the State Board of Education this fall.

The meeting will take place:
