State Board of Education to Convene in Miami

TALLAHASSEE — The State Board of Education will hold their August meeting in Miami. The Board will discuss a number of issues, including the 2004-2005 Legislative Budget Request for the Florida Department of Education, school improvement plans for failing schools, and new guidelines for termination of charter school contracts.
