Education Commissioner Jim Horne to Announce Florida's Results Under No Child Left Behind

TALLAHASSEE — Education Commissioner Jim Horne will announce Florida's results under the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act. A list of all public schools, indicating whether they made "Adequate Yearly Progress" (AYP) under NCLB, will be available online at:

Online information will include detailed reports by state, district, and school, as well as frequently asked questions and an explanation of criteria for measuring Florida's AYP.

Commissioner Horne, K-12 Chancellor Jim Warford, and other education officials will be available to answer reporter's questions via conference call at:
