Education Commissioner Jim Horne to Hold Media Availability via Telephone Conference Call Following Announcement of Florida's Writing Scores on the 2002 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP)

Education Commissioner Jim Horne will be available via telephone conference call following the announcement of Florida's 2002 NAEP Writing scores. The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), also known as "the Nation's Report Card," is a national assessment of what students can do in various subject areas. Florida's 2002 NAEP Writing scores and a state by state comparison will be available online tomorrow at http://nces.ed.gov/nationsreportcard/writing/.
