Universal Pre-Kindergarten Advisory Council to Hold its First Meeting
Lt. Governor Jennings to serve as Chairperson, Chancellor Warford to serve on Council

TALLAHASSEE — Chancellor for K-12 Public Education Jim Warford will participate in the first meeting of the Universal Pre-Kindergarten Advisory Council on Tuesday in Tallahassee. Lieutenant Governor Toni Jennings will serve as Chairperson. The council was established by the State Board of Education to make recommendations for the implementation of a quality program consistent with the requirements of the universal pre-k constitutional amendment passed by Florida voters last fall. The Council will discuss guiding principles and outcomes at its first meeting.
