Higher Education Funding Advisory Council to hold conference call Friday, Dec. 6, to complete work on recommendations

The Higher Education Funding Advisory Council will hold a conference call at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, to discuss and complete the Council's recommendations.

Members of the media may listen in on the call by dialing (850) 921-6623. Please place your phone on mute, and do not use a cellular phone, as cell phones can create interference on these calls.

Attached are an agenda, a list of council members and a draft of the council's recommendations.

The Higher Education Funding Advisory Council was appointed by Education Secretary Jim Horne and the Florida Board of Education and given a broad mandate to study the way higher education is funded in Florida.

The council's recommendations will go before the Florida Board of Education when it meets Tuesday in Tallahassee.
