Governor Appoints Five to the Newly Created Higher Education Facilities Financing Authority

TALLAHASSEE — Governor Jeb Bush today announced the following appointments:

Higher Education Facilities Financing Authority (Senate Confirmation Required)

  • Jodie M. Ploessl, 41, of Winter Park, Southeast Regional Vice President of the University of Phoenix, for a term beginning January 18, 2002 and ending January 18, 2006.

  • Ken A. Plante, 63, of Tallahassee, President of Plante and Adams, for a term beginning January 18, 2002 and ending January 18, 2007.

  • Donna B. Brosemer, 51, of West Palm Beach, political consultant for Politically Correct Inc., for a term beginning January 18, 2002 and ending January 18, 2005.

  • Milton L. Jones, 61, of Fort Lauderdale, self-employed real estate agent and general contractor, for a term beginning January 18, 2002 and ending January 18, 2004.

  • Brenda Dohring, 48, of Tampa, self-employed appraiser, for a term beginning January 18, 2002 and ending January 18, 2003.
