Governor Bush and Lt. Governor Brogan to Unveil Education Budget Priorities

Governor Jeb Bush and Lt. Governor Frank Brogan will announce their education budget recommendations for fiscal year 2002-03 on Tuesday in Tallahassee.

Governor Bush and Lt. Governor Brogan will be joined by Sen. Donald Sullivan, Rep. Evelyn Lynn, Rep. Heather Fiorentino, Rep. Bev Kilmer, Rep. Johnnie Byrd, Secretary of Education Jim Horne, Executive Director for Florida School Board Association Wayne Blanton, Executive Director for Florida Association of District School Superintendents Tom Weightman, Director of Governmental Services of Pinellas County Steve Schwartzel, Interim Chancellor of Community Colleges David Armstrong, Florida State University President Sandy D'Alemberte, and Florida A&M University Board of Trustee member Randy Hanna.

Governor Bush and Lt. Governor Brogan will tour several classrooms prior to the announcement at:
