Mission
To maximize funding opportunities throughout Florida’s education community.Goals
- Secure additional funding for education programs in Florida.
- Provide greater coordination of grant activities within the Department.
- Build and strengthen the network of grant coordinators throughout the state of Florida.
- Increase Florida’s capacity for funding by building collaborative partnerships among state agencies.
Services
- Provide grant development training, consultative and technical assistance statewide.
- Advise the Department in preparing Request For Proposals (RFP), Request For Applications (RFA), and in processing applications to ensure fair consideration, and efficient, streamlined processes and procedures.
- Assist Department staff in the proposal writing process.
- Conduct grant source searches for educators.
