Acceptance of Applications for Potential Co-Sponsors and for New and Existing Charter School Applicants and Technical Assistance Workshops Sessions

The FSE Commission will be accepting applications from potential Co-Sponsors and New and Existing Charter School applicants and will be providing Technical Assistance sessions as follows:

  • Co-Sponsors: Application Submission Information (Word, 34KB)
    • Letters of Intent (LOI) are requested to be submitted by May 16, 2008


  • New and Existing schools:
    • Technical Assistance for applicants will be provided at the following locations at 9:00 AM:
      • May 16, 2008 at NSU – Orlando Student Education Center, located at: 4850 Millenia Blvd., Orlando, FL 32839. (407) 264-5600.

      • May 20, 2008 at NSU – Fischler N. Miami Beach Campus, located at: 1750 NW 167 St., N. Miami Beach, FL 33162. (800) 986- 3223
        Please submit an e-mail to confirm your attendance to: FloridaSchoolsofExcellence@fldoe.org

    • Application Period: July 1, 2008 to August 1, 2008
      • Letters of Intent (LOI) are requested to be submitted by June 16, 2008
Application submission requirements for Co-Sponsors and New and Existing schools are as follows:
  • Eight (8) bound paper applications that includes an application cover sheet, table of content, appendixes and exhibits, as necessary
