Florida Schools Honored By Magnet Schools of America
Seventeen Florida magnet schools were recently recognized by Magnet Schools of America (MSA) as the 2008 Schools of Excellence. Twenty-six schools were honored as MSA Schools of Distinction. The award program recognizes magnet schools that show a commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation/diversity efforts, and the consistent delivery of quality services to all school stakeholders.
