Tool Kit for Parents and Community Leaders

Tutors for Kids - Tutor for Kids is a service of the Supplemental Educational Services Quality (SESQ) Center, which helped families take advantage of this opportunity to get children the extra academic help they need. The Center was established through a grant to the American Institutes for Research from the Office Of Innovation and Improvement of the U.S. Department of Education.

Tool Kit Parents - This Tool Kit provides parents and community leaders with information, tips, and tools to help families understand and use SES options.

Tool Kit Educators - This page offers information for principals, teachers, and school staff about supplemental educational services specific to their needs and roles. It also offers tips on how to use this website.

The Education Trust - The Education Trust has a collection of materials on NCLB, including the No Child Left Behind User Guide and fact sheets for parents and the community. It also publishes The ABC's of "AYP"

    The Parents Network for Better Education reaches out to parents in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina with information and training about parent's rights. It provides parents with the tools for children's education and opportunities for public school choice and services under the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB).
  • The National Coalition of ESEA Title I Parents, Inc.
    The National Coalition of Title I/Chapter 1 Parents helps economically disadvantaged parents to develop the necessary skills and abilities needed to make sound decisions that result in improving the quality of their children's education.
