NCLB Monitoring
Monitoring No Child Left Behind (NCLB) programs supports the Florida Department of Education's mission to increase the proficiency of all students within one seamless, efficient system. It allows the department to examine the implementation of these federally-funded programs that are designed to increase student proficiency. Through the monitoring process, the department can gather accurate data regarding local program needs and use these data to plan technical assistance activities and support school districts' efforts toward school improvement. Monitoring serves as a means for helping districts and SES providers achieve high- quality implementation of educational programs.
