SES Provider Evaluation

According to Section 1008.331, Florida Statutes, supplemental educational services (SES) providers must report to the Department by May 1 of each year, unless a prior agreement has been made with the local school district, student learning gains; student attendance and completion data; and parent satisfactory survey results. Principal and school district satisfaction survey results will be collected directly via electronic format on the Department’s Web site. The Department will use this data to assign a provider’s service designation of excellent, satisfactory, or unsatisfactory by July 1 of each year.

The Department of Education will develop Rule to implement a process for assigning service designations for state-approved SES providers. Three Rule Development Workshops will be held to solicit public comments and suggestions regarding the development of the Rule. To submit comments regarding the Rule, please use the Department’s Web based system.
