About Us
The Bureau of Family & Community Outreach operates in the context of the Department’s strategic vision to change the culture of our schools from Pre-K to postsecondary by raising the ceiling and raising the floor to better enable students for success in the 21st Century. The bureau provides resources, training, recognition, and technical assistance for parents, volunteers, schools and communities to support families in making choices that will promote a high quality education for their children.Offices and Initiatives
