In 2007, there were 1,946 "A" and "B" schools. This is an increase from 515 "A" and "B" schools in 1999, 845 in 2000, 1,004 in 2001, 1,447 in

2002, 1,809 in 2003, 1,802 in 2004, 1,844 in 2005, and a decrease from 2,077 in 2006. In 2007, there were 302 "D" and "F" schools. This is a

decrease from 677 "D" and "F" schools in 1999, 401 in 2000, 307 in 2001, an increase from 249 in 2002, 173 in 2003, 233 in 2004, a decrease from

308 in 2005, and an increase from 143 in 2006.
