Whether you're moving to Florida, moving within Florida, or just seeking information relative to Florida's public school system, the information provided through this web site will assist you. Depending on the publication, information is provided on both the district and the state levels, or only on the state level. Statistical Briefs provide detailed district-by-district information on students and staff. Florida Information Notes (FINs) present information on education topics of current interest. Profiles provide comprehensive student, staff, and financial data on all 67 school districts. Reports include the School Advisory Council Reports, Florida School Indicators Reports, Graduation and Dropout Rates, and more. The EIAS publications available at this site include:

Students

• 2006-07 Five-Year District Graduation Rates as Follow-up to the 2005-06 Four-Year Rates (PDF) This Florida Information Note contains the five-year graduation rate, by district, of the 2002-03 cohort and supplements the 2005-06 four-year rate.
• 2007-08 School District Start and End Dates (PDF) This Florida Information Note contains the starting and ending dates for the 2007-08 school year and compares the starting date for a twenty-year period.
• Chronic Student Absenteeism (PDF) This Florida Information Note examines chronic student absenteeism at the district level by grade and at the state level by grade, race, socioeconomic status, gender, ESE status, and LEP status.
• Dropout Demographics in Florida's Public Schools, and Dropout Rates (PDF) This Florida Information Note contains dropout rates by race at the district level and by race and gender at the state level and tracks seven-year trends in dropout rates by race.
• Dropout Rates by District, 1998-99 through 2006-07 This report provides the dropout data for school years 1998-99 through 2006-07.

• Florida High School Graduates (PDF) Statistical information on Florida's public high school graduates is contained in this statistical brief. • Florida Public High School Graduation Rates, 2006-07 (PDF) Statistical information on Florida's public high school graduation rates is contained in this statistical brief. • Florida School Indicators Report The Florida School Indicators Report provides data on every school for each of Florida’s 67 school districts and allows quick comparisons between schools and districts using a single source. This multi-volume report includes data for all 67 school districts and is intended to augment other publications produced by the Department of Education in meeting statutory public reporting requirements.
• Free/Reduced Price Lunch Eligibility (PDF) This Florida Information Note compares state and national Free/Reduced Price Lunch (FRL) eligibility rates and tracks ten-year trends of state FRL eligibility rates by race at state and district levels.
• Graduation and Dropout Rates by District These reports provide the graduation rates by district for school years 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07.
• Graduation Rates by District, 1998-99 through 2006-07 This report provides the graduation data for school years 1998-99 through 2006-07.
• Graduation Rates by School, 2006-07 (Excel) This excel spreadsheet provides the cohort graduation rates by school by district.
• Growth of Minority Student Populations in Florida's Public Schools (PDF) This Florida Information Note tracks trends in minority student enrollment by district, includes eighteen-year comparison, and highlights districts with minority populations of 50 percent or more.
• Membership in Florida Public Schools (PDF) Student membership by grade and racial/ethnic category is displayed in this statistical brief.
