Salon 1 Secondary/Vocational - This session provides an overview of data reporting for secondary career education. It examines the structure of the data elements, the record formats, and the reports that are part of secondary career education information. There is an emphasis on the reporting process with attention paid to the importance of the edit and validation reports. It also describes the process and necessity of making updates and reviewing reports to assure quality data reporting. Presenter: Bruce Harrington

Salon 1 Program Cost Reporting - The session is designed to assist in the preparation of the program cost report. It will cover some of the basics, the how’s, and the why’s of the cost report. The session will also cover general information about the report and any updates and changes in preparation of the cost report. Presenter: Richard Harbin
Salon 2 Educator Certification On-Line Resources - This session provides an overview of the on-line resources available not only to assist educators in the Florida certification process but also for recruitment coordinators, certification administrators, and even information professionals. It examines each of the certification resources available, the information it provides, and who/how each can be accessed, as well as tips and tricks for getting the most out of it. The session will also address how certification information is used for various data reporting needs from identifying certification pathways of Florida’s new teachers to federal Title II (Teacher Quality) reporting. The session will conclude with an open forum for attendees to discuss opportunities for expansion of certification services to better meet stakeholder needs. Presenter: David C. LaJeunesse

Legacy North 2 Reporting Requirements for School Choice Programs - This session will focus on the FTE reporting requirements and processes for school choice programs including, McKay Scholarships, Virtual Schools, and Charter Schools. Presenter: Jean Miller

Salon 2 Reporting Migrant Data in Florida's Student Information Database - This session will provide an overview of the state student data base reporting requirements for Florida’s migrant student population. A review of current data elements, formats, edits, reports and timelines will be provided as well as information on the new data element required for students who receive continuation of services.
