Welcome to the 2009 DOE Information Database Workshop website! Program Offices as well as our office and the Florida Knowledge Network staff joined forces this year to present our first ever virtual Student and Staff Database Conference. Our goal has been to develop a format of providing pertinent information to the local school districts and other educational agencies in a more cost- and time- efficient manner.
It is our hope that this format will allow a broader range of district personnel to have access to the presentations and the valuable information they provide. Prior to viewing a video presentation, we recommend that participants print out all PowerPoint (PPT) presentations and any accompanying handouts. This will allow the viewer to have a better experience while viewing the video presentation.
Please share this information with other district personnel. We also ask you to help us evaluate the effectiveness of this product by completing our Online Workshop Survey at http://data.fldoe.org/cs/default.cfm?officeID=94. In addition, any questions, concerns, or feedback may be addressed to the general workshop e-mail address at dbweias@fldoe.org.
To get started, scroll down to the desired session and simply make your selection. Listed first are the PPTs, then the Accessible Word versions of the PPT presentations, followed by the videos and any additional handouts. All files are available for downloading.
