Registration Information – Hotel:
The room rate $117 per night for single occupancy, and $127 per night for double occupancy. There will be free high speed internet access in guest rooms, 2 bottles of water daily, daily newspaper and scheduled transportation to / from the parks (Universal, Sea World & Disney). Every room also has a refrigerator and in-room safe.

Reservations must be made no later than Friday, May 23, 2008. You may make your hotel reservation by calling (800) 588-4656, or you can go to the on-line address, https://fmhv1web.thefloridamallhotel.com/v1web/Availability.asp?WCI=Groups&WCE=GroupSelect and use the Group Member Login; Group ID 5756, Password 9484. In order to ensure the proper room rate, school district staff must indicate that they are attending the Education Information Database Workshop. Please make sure you register on or before this closing date. I will not be able to ensure available rooms past this date with the $117/$127 rate. Check in time is 3:00 PM and check out time is prior to 12:00 noon. Late checkouts are subject to a late checkout fee. Cancellations and/or changes regarding your sleeping room must be done through the hotel. The Department of Education is not responsible for your hotel room.

On-line Registration is available at http://data.fldoe.org/register/eias/. Please register only once; enter your name as you want it to be printed on your nametag. Check the spelling AND punctuation of your name AND your e-mail address! If your district requires confirmation, please print the screen showing your registration confirmation which will appear immediately after you submit your registration. We will not be able to duplicate this screen. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail once you have registered. If you are unable to attend, please send an e-mail to Becky cancelling your registration. If someone else is going in place of you, they need to do the on-line registration. If the on-line registration is already closed, please send your information via e-mail to Becky.
