Equity in Education

Equity in education occurs when males and females, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, immigrant students, pregnant or parenting students, and students with disabilities demonstrate school participation and achievement that is not identifiable by the subpopulation to which they belong.
