TLCF Authorizing Legislation

After passing the Improving America's Schools Act (IASA) in 1994, Congress created Title III, Technology for Education. Title III includes TLCF, Star Schools, Technology Innovation Challenge Grants and the Regional Technology in Education Consortia.

Florida's 1997 allocation was $7,901,240 but increased significantly in 1998 and 1999 with a total of more than $18 million. Allocation for 2000-2001 was more than $19 million.
