This publication is designed to provide assistance to school, district, and preschool personnel to improve student achievement and to facilitate the transition of children from the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education program to kindergarten. District-level information regarding kindergarten students is provided, along with a statewide summary. Information includes demographics, free/reduced lunch eligibility, children with disabilities, English Language Learners, participation in prekindergarten programs, kindergarten readiness scores, non-promotions, student disciplinary actions, and more.
