The Florida Department of Environmental
Protection Asbestos Program rules, Chapter
62-257 Asbestos Program & Notice of Renovation or Demolition adopted
and incorporated the NESHAP rules by reference. At least 10 working
days prior to asbestos renovation or demolition a “Notice
of Asbestos Renovation or Demolition” DEP From 62-257-900(1)
disclosure is required.
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation,
Division of Professions, administers an Asbestos Licensing Unit.

or to report unlicensed asbestos abatement activity, please visit
the Florida
Asbestos Licensing Unit.
