About Us

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Finance and Operations directs and supervises legislative and operating budgets, the Public Education Capital Outlay budget and the Florida Education Finance Program allocations. The Deputy Commissioner performs the duties required for the sale of Public Education Capital Outlay and Classrooms First Bonds. This office also serves as the Department's liaison to the House Appropriations Committee and the Senate Appropriations Committee.
