Mission

The Foundation for Florida's Community Colleges, Inc. (FFCC) was established in July 1994 as a Direct Support Organization (DSO) for the Florida Community College System. Its primary mission is to raise funds to help support Florida's 28 public community colleges. The Foundation currently has nearly $19 million in assets and provides scholarships to thousands of students each year through the Ethics in Business Scholarship, the Bank of America Dream Makers Scholarship, Helios Scholarship for First Generation in College Students and the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship.

Funds donated to the FFCC are eligible to be matched through the Dr. Philip Benjamin Matching Grant Program (s. 1011.85, F.S.) thus doubling the contribution.
