Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida!
A partnership with Food & Nutrition Management and the Office of Healthy Schools has resulted in nutrition-related books being distributed and read by classroom volunteers during Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! over the past three years:
- 08-09: Provided over 1,500 James Wakes Up to School Breakfast books to grades K-5 in 46 districts.
- 09-10: Provided 1,500 Our Generous Garden books to grades K-5 in 41 districts.
- 10-11: Provided over 1,300 Our Super Garden books to grades K-5 in 44 districts.
