Special Arrangements

Examinees with a Disability:

An applicant unable to complete the examination under standard testing conditions may request special arrangements. Adaptations of testing materials and/or testing conditions are made for applicants with documented disabling conditions. The specific disability should be described and attested to on letterhead stationery by a medical doctor, a licensed psychologist, or a university official. Documentation cannot be older than three years. Special arrangements may be made for those applicants who are visually impaired, hearing impaired, physically disabled, or specific learning disabled. A REQUEST FOR SPECIAL TESTING CONDITIONS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME THE REGISTRATION APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED. Include a letter stating testing accommodations that would be helpful for you.

Religious Exceptions:

Special examination dates may be arranged for persons whose religious convictions prohibit taking examinations on Saturday. Alternate examination dates may be arranged only for religious reasons. To request a special administration date, you must include with the completed registration application a letter on letterhead stationery stating your religious conflict attested to by an official of your church or synagogue. If the request is approved, you will be notified of an alternative examination date and site. A REQUEST FOR A SPECIAL TEST DATE MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME THE REGISTRATION APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED.
