Score Report Dates

FELE test scores will be issued according to the following schedule:
Testing Method Test Description Score Report Date
computer-based testing All subtests approximately 2 weeks after the test date
paper-based testing tests taken at Regular Administrations 30 calendar days after the test date
paper-based testing tests taken at Supplemental Administrations 14 calendar days after the test date

Posting of Unofficial Scores

You may view your unofficial pass/fail status by visiting the FTCE/FELE Program website at www.fl.nesinc.com and selecting "Score Reporting". Unofficial scores will be posted by 5:00 p.m. on the score report date. The online pass/fail status is not an official score report. You will receive your official score report in the mail.

If you take a computer-based test, your unofficial score results for the multiple-choice questions will be provided to you at the test center at the conclusion of each test. If you took a subtest with a performance component, you will receive proof of testing that documents your completion of the test. In addition, your unofficial pass/fail status will be available on this Web site according to the schedule above. These results are not official. You will receive your official score report in the mail.

Official Score Reports

Official score reports will be mailed on the score report dates; see the schedule above. You will receive two identical official score reports.

If you do not receive your score report, or the score report you receive contains incomplete or erroneous information, contact the FTCE/FELE program office at (413) 256-2893 within 60 calendar days after the mailing dates listed in "Test Dates". A replacement or a new, corrected score report will be mailed to you at no charge. If you fail to notify the FTCE/FELE program office within the 60-day period, you will be required to pay $10 for a new score report.

A copy of your score report will be sent directly to the school district, college, or university you indicated when you registered.

Your passing scores will be submitted electronically to the Bureau of Educator Certification automatically; however, for any tests taken before July 1, 2002, you will need to provide an official score report to the Bureau if you have not already provided one.

Duplicate Score Reports

You may obtain duplicate score reports in the following ways:
  • Use the duplicate score report request form in the Score Interpretation Guide sent to you with your test scores. This form is also available to download as a PDF document on the FTCE/FELE Program website by selecting "Print Bulletin and Forms". Fill it out and send it with the correct payment to the address indicated on the form.
  • If you do not have a copy of the request form, write to the FTCE/FELE Program Office, Evaluation Systems, Pearson, P.O. Box 660, Amherst, MA 01004-9018. Include your name, Social Security number, mailing address, test name(s), test date(s), and correct payment.

Enclose a personal check, money order, or cashier's check for $10.00 made payable to Evaluation Systems. Be sure your current address and telephone number appear on the check or money order.

Two identical official duplicate score reports will be mailed to you within 10 days after your complete order with payment is received in the FTCE/FELE program office. If you did not order score reports sent directly to districts or colleges when you registered and discover that you need them later, you will need to order and pay for the score reports and provide them to the institutions yourself.

If you do not receive the duplicate score report you ordered, or if it is incomplete or has an error, report this promptly to the FTCE/FELE program office at (413) 256-2893; enter option 9 to speak to a representative. It will be remailed, or if it is determined that it needs to be corrected, you will be sent a new score report. If you delay notification beyond 60 calendar days after the score report is sent, or if the error on the report is due to incorrect information sent by you, you may be required to pay another $10 for the corrected score report.
