Applying for Retakes

To be certified, an examinee must pass all three of the subtests. Your score report will indicate whether or not you passed each subtest. If you do not pass one or more subtests, you may retake those subtests by submitting a registration application for a subsequent test administration.

If you are applying to retake one or more subtests, be certain to indicate on the application which subtest(s) you wish to take.

Notice:

You must wait 31 calendar days before retaking a test or subtest; otherwise, the score for the retake will be invalidated and no score report will be issued. This rule applies to both computer-based tests and paper-and-pencil tests.
