Race to the Top Grant

The Florida Department of Education submitted its application for the Race to the Top competitive grant program on January 15, 2010. The $4.35 billion in federal funding available through this program represents an unprecedented opportunity for education reform in our nation, and Florida is has created an application that will stand out among the competition.
