American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

On February 17, 2009, President Barack Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) into law. The Act, intended to provide a stimulus to the nation's economy, earmarks more than $90 billion for states to use in key education areas such as the instruction of students with disabilities, services for low-income students and the stabilization of local school district funding. For more information, visit the U.S. government’s official web site.

This Web site is designed to provide information about the education-related portion of the Act and Florida's efforts to secure funding through it.
