About Reporting NRS Data:

The NRS is a Federal accountability system measuring student outcomes and literacy gains in adult education and literacy programs. As required by this project, states have the primary responsibility of implementing the procedures most applicable, and ensuring that Local Education Agencies (LEAs) follow uniform data collection policies and procedures.

NOTE: FDOE collects Asian, Native Hawaiian, and all Other Pacific Islanders in one ethnicity category, therefore Tables 1 and 2 will allow the recording of Unknown and/or Multi-Racial entries.

When FDOE compilies these data into the final NRS report, the Columns D and E are placed into the NRS column titled, "Asian" and the data in columns J and K are reported in the NRS column titled, "Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander." The situation has been negotiated with the USDOE and they understand that Florida, and other state have NOT converted to these new ethnicity categories since that has not yet been fully approved and mandated at the Federal level.

The table below shows what tables each LEA type must report via the NRS Online Web Application.

Districts Table 7 only.
The data which DOE collects during the year will be used to complete the other tables (1-6).
Community Colleges Table 7 only.
