Welcome to Innovation and Implementation! Our vision is to LIFT all students by Linking Individual Futures to Technology. Innovation and Implementation contains 2 program areas: Instructional Technology and Computer Science Education as well as Program Grants .

Program Grants

Innovation and Implementation oversees over twenty federal and state grants totaling more than $10 million made available through the Bureau of Standards and Instructional Support. Information on individual grants and their program manager contacts can be found on the Program Grants webpage.

Instructional Technology

This webpage contains links to resources, including webinars and toolkits, for use by teachers and other stakeholders to assist in integrating the use of technology into classroom instruction.

Computer Science Education

Florida adopted Computer Science Standards in 2016. In 2018 the legislature amended section 1007.2616, Florida Statutes to require all public schools containing any of grades 6-12 to afford opportunities to students to take computer science courses. The Computer Science webpage contains links to resources to support instruction in computer science in grades K-12.
