Those certifications identified in the “Eligible for District Performance Incentive Funds” column on the CAPE Postsecondary Industry Certification Funding List as "Yes" are eligible to receive performance incentive funds.

Florida Statutes provides for a performance award of $1,000 for each industry certification earned by a workforce education student1, if the value of the total fundable certifications does not exceed the maximum in the performance-based incentive funds appropriation.

1 These performance funds shall not be awarded for certifications earned through continuing workforce education programs.

Funding shall be based on students who earn industry certifications in the following occupational areas: public safety, health sciences, automotive service technology, auto collision repair and refinishing, cyber security, cloud virtualization, network support services, computer programming, advanced manufacturing, electrician, welding, Federal Aviation Administration airframe mechanics, power plant mechanics, pharmacy technicians, unmanned aircraft systems, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning technicians.

Those certifications identified in the “Eligible for College Performance Incentive Funds” column on the CAPE Postsecondary Industry Certification Funding List as "Yes" are eligible to receive performance incentive funds.
