K-12 Public School Facility Funding Task Force


About

  • Section 20 of Chapter 2012-133, Laws of Florida, creates a K-12 Public School Facility Funding Task Force. The Task Force has been established for the purpose of examining all relevant factors in order to make recommendations to the Legislature for more equitable facility funding for charter schools and schools operated by a school district, including, but not limited to: (a) charter school facility funding needs; (b) existing funding and revenue sources available for fixed capital outlay needs of charter schools and schools operated by a school district; (c) long-term debt for school facilities; (d) class size requirements and the impacts of such requirements on facilities funding needs; and (e) district facilities utilization.
