Workforce Education Programs

By January 15, 2010, the Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability must submit a report on workforce education programs to the Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives. The report must review student outcomes in workforce education degree and certificate programs offered by community colleges, school districts, and independent institutions which prepare students for occupations not included on the locally targeted occupations lists developed by Workforce Florida, Inc., or on the statewide occupational forecasting list developed by the Workforce Estimating Conference. The review must examine successful program completion and licensure passage rates and employment placement rates and wages earned according to industry. Contact: Tara Goodman, .
