Seminole State College

Martha Goshaw

Martha Goshaw, a mathematics professor at Seminole State College of Florida, has been chosen to receive the Mathematics Excellence Award by the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) for her "significant contributions to mathematics and mathematics education." The award was presented at the AMATYC's annual conference taking place Nov. 8-11 in Jacksonville.

In 2003 Goshaw received the AMATYC Teaching Excellence Award. She is only the second educator in the country to receive both of these AMATYC awards.
